As we practice, we continue to grow our confidence in the possibility of awakening. Whatever the impetus, we have found ourselves at the door of the Dhamma and taken a drink from the cup of practice offered there. In and through that sip, we glimpsed the possibility of relief—relief from distress, misery, and suffering. Somewhere along the way, this sweet taste of possibility touched the faith of our hearts and inspired us to continue deepening our understanding of this challenging path towards freedom. In this way, faith and energy are intimately paired, they fertilize and grow each other.
